HOURCAST TO TOUR WITH GODSMACK AND BREAKING BENJAMIN, BEGINNING OCTOBER 20th AND RUNNING THROUGH NOVEMBER 21st
In perhaps the ultimate example of 'taking care of your own,' rockers Godsmack will be taking out fellow Boston, Massachusetts residents HourCast, on a month's worth of arena dates.
Touring in support of their just-released debut full length, 'State of Disgrace,' the group - which is comprised of Patrick McBride: vocals, David Henriquez: guitars, David Sullivan: bass, and Jerry Clews: drums - should have no problem gaining a legion of new fans with their tough, industrial metal sound.
"I think I'm speaking for all of us when I say that we are honored to be keeping such company on this tour," explains frontman McBride. "Godsmack wrote the book on how a band can bust their ass and make it happen. When you speak about legendary east coast hard rock...it's Aerosmith and Godsmack. Period. And Breaking Benjamin? Their songs have been ringing in my head for the last two years...great band, great songwriters. We are ecstatic to have this opportunity to play in front of these bands and it is our intention to kill it each and every night, and inspire their fans with our music...the way they inspired us."
Released via the Alkamedia label, 'State of Disgrace' is fast establishing HourCast as one of the most-talked about new metal bands to hit the scene, as their video for the track "Freeze" is already creating a buzz on video outlets coast to coast.
Also, HourCast's song "Sakarra" from 'State of Disgrace' has been added to the soundtrack for the latest installment in the SAW movie series...SAW III.
"All of us in HourCast are really pleased to have our music featured on the SAW III Soundtrack. We loved the first movie and the sequel. I think our music is a perfect fit to the vision of this movie" states Patrick McBride.
The movie and the soundtrack will be released THIS HALLOWEEN.
