Late Beatle to feature on Hollywood Walk of Fame
George Harrison will receive a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.
The late Beatle will be honoured at a 2008 induction ceremony, along with Christina Aguilera and
the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who will also receive stars in their names.
All of those chosen were being honoured "for a combination of professional achievement and
community involvement", according to Hollywood's honorary mayor, Johnny Grant.
The pavement stars runs along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Los Angeles and is embedded
with the names of more than 2,000 celebrities recognised by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for
their contributions to the entertainment industry.
