UPDATE: THE OLD VERSION HAD THE WRONG NOTE FOR THAT LEAD-BEND ON THE INTRO TO VERSE.  THIS IS REAL AND TRUE.

i saw these guys live and they began this with an introduction--the intro to Stairway to Heaven.

C*, D*, etc are power chords played around the A string and letting

the high b and e strings ring.  rhythm guitar plays these.

the bass part pretty much just plays the root note of whatever chord

is being played, with a few hit-ons and such to make it interesting.

INTRO:

e|-x--x--------------|-------------|-------------|----------------|-----

B|-x--x--------------|-------------|-------------|----------------|-----

G|-16-16-(continue top line two frets above bottom line--like a power chord w/o middle string)

D|-x--x--------------|-------------|-------------|----------------|-----

A|-14-14-14-15-14-17-|-17-15-15-14-|-14-14-15-14-|-12-10-10-12-10-|-----

CHORUS-CHORUS part 2

CHORUS

LAST CHORUS PART 2:       E5~

in this bittersweet, in this bittersweet! in this bittersweet now.

my band played this and it sounded great, because it's a kickass song.

we had the lead do the intro against the rhythm guitar, and they both played

the verses and choruses.  during the chorus, the lead fast-strummed sixteenth

notes, to make that brushing sort of sound that's on the CD during the chorus,

that sort of record-spinning sound.  it sounded great. . . .Fuel rules.
