*note* for the intro/main chord progression for this song, i've worked out

at least a half dozen different chord progressions that work. i've put what

i think sounds best; not necessarily exactly what the guitar plays (this is

hard to tell because it is quite low in the mix), but rather a culmination of

the main guitar chords and the chords created by the addition of notes by

the synth. if anyone wants a different take (or multiple different takes) on

this main chord progression, let me know, and i'll hook you up, but i think

this sounds best...

intro: Fmaj7 G6 Dm (/F, if you want) Cmaj7 x2 G

C F G C

two scientists are racing for the good of all mankind

F C

both of them side by side / so determined

locked in heated battle for the cure that is the prize

but it's so dangerous, but they're determined

Am/C G6 Am/C G

theirs is to win if it kills them / they're just humans with wives and children

Fmaj7 G6 Dm Cmaj7 x2 G

Upwards to the vanguard

Where the pressure is too high

Under the microscope

Hope against hope

Forging for the future

But to sarcrifice their lives

Both of them side by side

So determined

Theirs is to win

If it kills them

They're just humans

With wives and children

Fmaj7 G6 Dm Cmaj7 x2

Theirs is to win

It will kill them

They're just humans

With wives and children

Fmaj7 G6 Dm Cmaj7 to fade
