Faith Hill - Cry guitar chord
Faith Hill - Cry
Album: Cry
Written by Angie Aparo

This is an incredible song. If you even mildly like Faith Hill's version you must pick up Angie
Aparo's The American, which has the original, written by THE GREATEST musician to come out with
a CD since Radiohead. The dude is unbelievable. Go download one of his songs, and that will make
you want to buy his entire collection. Infact, just go buy his whole collection. It's only three
albums, and it the three best album by the same person you can ever buy (except possibly U2, Led
Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Radiohead). Yes, I am comparing him to all those bands. Think of Bob
Dylan, with a voice sweeter than Thom Yorke's, playing with U2, and you might have an adulterated
view of Angie Aparo. Everyone who hears him, gives him his due.

If I had just one tear running down your cheek

Maybe I could cope maybe I'd get some sleep
D A Bm G
If I had Just one moment at your expense

Maybe all my misery would be well spent

Could you cry a little

Lie just a little
D A Bm G
Pretend that you're feeling a little more pain

I gave now I'm wanting

Something in return
D A D
So cry just a little for me
If your love could be caged, honey, I would hold the key
And conceal it underneath that pile of lies you handed me
And you'd hunt and those lies
They'd be all you'd ever find
And that'd be all you'd have to know
For me to be fine
And you'd cry a little
You'd die just a little
And baby I would feel just a little less pain
I gave now I'm wanting
something in return
So cry just a little for me
Bm G A
Give it up baby A whimper would be fine
Bm G A
Some kind of clue that You're doing time
D A Bm G
Some kind of heartache Honey give it a try
A G
I don't want pity
