DIRECTOR/PRODUCER TODD MCFARLANE SET TO DIRECT MUSIC VIDEO FOR DISTURBED

Disturbed

Disturbed, one of rock music's most compelling and creative bands, has enlisted acclaimed producer and director team of Todd McFarlane and Terry Fitzgerald to create the music video for their new single, "Land of Confusion," a cover of the classic Genesis song, from their platinum selling third album Ten Thousand Fists. The single is set to hit radio in the coming weeks, with the video making its debut shortly afterward. Both will coincide with the band's co-headlining stint on this summer's Ozzfest tour scheduled to kick off June 29th in Seattle WA.

Todd McFarlane and the band met at the director's Arizona studio in March to discuss the concept and vision of the project, which is now nearing completion. McFarlane, who created the video entirely in animated form has designed and finished the storyboards. A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video -- storyboards, character development and Todd's commentary on the creative process is available on Spawn.com and Disturbed1.com

The video is a project of Todd McFarlane Entertainment. "It's always exciting to work on music videos and to pour yourself into them in a big way", proclaimed McFarlane. "We get to get to rock out artistically and the creativity the band has thrown our way will make this fairly easy for us."

No stranger to working with Disturbed, McFarlane had designed and created the cover artwork for Ten Thousand Fists, which recently went platinum. Upon its release, the album shot to #1 on the Billboard chart, becoming the second album from the band to debut in the top slot. Ten Thousand Fists has remained on the chart for 22 consecutive weeks and is currently in the top 75 albums. "Land of Confusion" is set to hit radio TBC.

Piloted by DAVID DRAIMAN (vocals), DAN DONEGAN (guitar) and MIKE WENGREN (drums), Disturbed's new album Ten Thousand Fists has proven to be a full-on success for the band, scoring with fans and music critics alike. After debuting at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 chart in September, the album's first single "Stricken" went to #1 on the Active Rock radio chart, making it the band's 7th consecutive single to reach #1 on this chart.
