Veteran R&B singer Dionne Warwick's musical trip overseas has hit a small hurdle after thieves stole valuable jewelry from the star's hotel room. According to Italian newspaper reports, suspects broke into Warwick's posh hotel room in Rome and escaped with jewelry worth more than $100,000 while she was preparing for a concert on Monday. Warwick reportedly turned up about an hour late for the concert and explained to the audience she had just been robbed. Some papers reported that actress Cameron Diaz's room had also been targeted by thieves when she had stayed at the same hotel years ago. Warwick — the Grammy Award-winning performer whose many hits include “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?,” “Walk On By,” “I Say A Little Prayer” and “That's What Friends Are For”— is on a month-long concert tour of Italy.
