Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of allegedly punching a man in the face over a woman, according to a leaked Los Angeles police report.

The hip hop pioneer allegedly socked Gerard Rechnitzer, 27, at around 2 a.m. Monday outside of an Oscars after-party at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel, the criminal complaint posted on TMZ.com

Rechnitzer, a real estate agent, felt the wrath of Diddy when he exited the bathroom and saw his fiancée surrounded by six men, including combs, reports TMZ.

He claims Diddy punched him in the face after he intervened on the rap star, while he was trying to court his lady. The reports also states that Rechnitzer was thrown five feet after the strike, severely injuring himself.

By the time the police showed up, Combs had left.

In other Diddy news, a British court ruled on Wednesday that U.S. rap star had breached an agreement with a London-based record producer not to use the alias "Diddy" in Britain.

However, the judgment did not take the potentially more serious decision to order the performer to change his alias or stop using the hugely popular MySpace and YouTube Internet sites, where his pages attract millions of viewers worldwide.
