The Intro

g---4------5--/--7----4---------------------------------------------
d---5------5--/--7----5---------------------------------------------
a---5---2--3--/--5--2-5---------------------------------------------
e---3--3--------------3---------------------------------------------
Okay, the intro is the same as the verse. It was tricky at first
because I wasn't used to Dave's aversion to open chords. This is much
easier to play open, but it sounds cooler withthe barre chords. You
can also add the percussive muted strum on beats 2 and 4 when you play
it this way. The notes in between the chords is the bassline Dave carries
pretty heavily for the intro; in fact, I wouldn't even play the high 'e'
and 'b' strings... they detract from the moving bassline.
The Verse
------------

Mama... Goes... Papa.. Started the investigation.
More of the same here, although don't focus as much on the bass line,
just the chord structure.

Me Julio Down Schoolyard
There's another way to play the chorus; same chords, but the C and D open
instead of barred. It works either way, so it's strictly up to your
prefrence. Dave plays it this way, though.
The Sax Solo
------------
Just repeat the Bridge and Chorus once and then lead back into the bridge
with vocals.
The Jam
------------
It's based around the four chords of the chorus; just keep jammin' and let
your sax, fiddle, and drums have some fun (if you're lucky enough to have
any of those :-).
The Notes
------------
Not a bad tune; catchy anyway. Pretty easy besides getting your left hand to
mimic Dave's amazing muting. Technically, you could only play the bottom four
strings and completely ignore the 'b' and high 'e' strings with muting. In the
end, it's up to you. A great RealAudio version of this song is available at
John Beck's RealAudio DMB Section (http://www.johnbeck.com/RAPAGE.htm).
Have a Blast!!!
