Darkest Hour

DARKEST HOUR tearing up the touring circuit

Darkest Hour

Darkest Hour is locked, loaded and ready to slay fans on tour with Converge and The Red Chord! This tour follows jaunts with Norma Jean, a full European tour, a summer tour with Bleeding Through and East Coast Warped Tour dates in support of Undoing Ruin, which hit stores on June 28th, 2005. Debuting at #138 in the Billboard Top 200, Undoing Ruin shot to the top of the CMJ Charts, remaining at #1 on the CMJ Crucial Chart for 7 weeks straight. Darkest Hour has appeared on Fuse TV's "Metal 101" episode of Uranium and on Metal Asylum. The video for Convalescence is spinning on Fuse TV's Metal Asylum and MTV2's Headbanger's Ball. Read about Darkest Hour in the new issue of Revolver Magazine, Metal Maniacs, and Decibel, who rank them at #8 on their Top 40 of 2005.

Darkest Hour began offering tablature books at their merch table a few years ago, selling out each print run with amazing rapidity. At the same time, guitarist Kris Norris produced his first instructional DVD which has been an excellent seller as well. Back by popular demand, the band has published a new tab book and re-issued the first one, while Norris has produced volume 2 of his instructional series.

Undoing Ruin was recorded at Green House Studio's Vancouver, BC by Devin Townsend, and mastered in Vancouver, BC by Greg Reely. The band was thrilled to work with the genius behind albums by Lamb of God, Soilwork and his own band, Strapping Young Lad. Guitarist Mike Schleibaum had this to say about Undoing Ruin, "It is by far our most extreme, mature, punishing, and diverse material to date. This record is who we are and it has been a long time coming."

Darkest Hour and Converge are joined on shows from November 4th to November 8th by Ringworm, whose Justice Replaced By Revenge is in stores today.
