Hi
I had this file done for a friend of mine, and I thought you might want to add the songs to your list:
The following postings are RTF *Rich Text Format* Files, describing
four complete CD's. If you import them in your Text editor
and that one understands RTF, these files print as a Cassette Label On Legal Paper.
iIf you want the files without the descriptions (just plain text) I might
mail those to you as well, but I thought these were much nicer... :)
Enjoy, and cut the Text down to here. Enno (q09960@pbhrzx.uni-paderborn.de)

\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 I'm writing you this letter
\\par From some old hotel
\\par I can feel the distance between us
\\par From the Spanish Steps
\\par To the Liberty Bell
\\par I know the angels have seen us
\\par They can see us baby
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 They see you down on Seventh Avenue

\\par Without a view

\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 I've seen the writing on the wall
\\par Heard a little bit of thunder
\\par At the seventh wonder
\\par And everything is bound to rise and fall

\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 My father was a working man
\\par But his work was never done
\\par He stood behind the counter
\\par And smiled at everyone
\\par He bought himself a business
\\par Worked seven days a week
\\par Took a holiday for Christmas
\\par Then fell asleep beside the tree
\\par But one day
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 One day
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 There's love for the lonely
\\par One day
\\par They walk in the sun
\\par One day
\\par Rest for the weary
\\par Rest for the weary ones
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 Now my mother stood beside him
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 She did what she could do
\\par But if you look at some old photograph
\\par She looks tired too
\\par I hope there was some laughter
\\par 'Cause I know there were some tears
\\par Now all that I can say is I pray to God
\\par That after all those years
\\par After all those years
\\par That one day
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 One day
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 There's love for the lonely

\\par One day

\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 Now I'm just another traveller
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 On another winding road
\\par I'm trying to walk some kind of line
\\par I'm trying to pull some kind of load
\\par Now sometimes I move real easy
\\par Sometimes I can't catch my breath
\\par Sometimes I see my father's footsteps
\\par And man it scares me half to death
\\par But one day
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 One day

\\par But it's still so surprising
\\par How a love grows stronger
\\par Or it just fades away
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 But you look older today
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 Than I've ever seen you

\\par We might wash all our tears away
\\par But you got to bundle up baby

\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 I hear you breathing heavy

\\par Said we'd give you all our love
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 Will you laugh just like your mother
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 Will you sigh like your old man
\\par Will some things skip a generation
\\par Like I've heard they often can
\\par Are you a poet or a dancer
\\par A devil or a clown
\\par Or some strange new combination of
\\par The Things We've handed down
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 I wonder who you'll look like
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 Will your hair fall down and curl
\\par Will you be a mama's boy
\\par Or daddy's little girl
\\par Will you be a sad reminder
\\par Of what's been lost along the way
\\par Maybe you can help me find her
\\par In the things you do and say
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 And these things that we have given you
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 They are not so easily found
\\par But you can thank us later
\\par For the things we've handed down
\\par \\pard\\plain \\s255\\qj\\sb24 \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 You may not always be so grateful
\\par \\pard\\plain \\qj \\f4\\fs10\\lang1033 For the way that you were made
\\par Some feature of your father's
\\par That you'd gladly sell or trade
\\par And one day you may look at us
\\par And say that you were cursed
\\par But over time that line has been
\\par Extremely well rehearsed
\\par By our fathers, and their fathers
\\par In some old and distant town
\\par From places no one here remembers
\\par Come the things we've handed down{\\*\\bkmkend DDE_LINK1}
