Elephant Man Talks About “Feel the Steam” With Chris Brown + Audio

Chris Brown

Earlier this month, I interviewed Elephant Man, Jamaica’s wildest entertainer. We discussed his new album, Let’s Get Physical on Diddy’s Bad Boy Records label, and Ele revealed a few juicy tidbits that haven’t made headlines yet. So, of course, I’m happy to share them with you! He mentioned that the next single off Let’s Get Physical will be his collaboration with Chris Brown. Man, the ladies are just mad about this barely-legal RnB star! I get so many emails and comments about Chris! The song he did with Elephant Man is called “Feel The Steam” and you can listen to it here:

When we discussed this song, Elephant Man said he had been listening to artists like Fabolous and Ne-Yo and said to himself, “I need a song like that to caress the ladies.” So of course he enlisted the help of his ultra-sexy friend Chris Brown. With “Feel The Steam,” Chris Brown brings the sexy and Elephant Man brings the street and both artists benefit. Elephant Man gets smooth and sexy, and Chris Brown gets dirty on a song that is ruffer/more street sounding than his usual fare. It’s no surprise that Ele thought of Chris when he wanted to make a special song for the ladies. During a concert in NYC last year, Ele called Chris Brown on stage for some fun - you should hear how the ladies went wild when Chris appeared on stage! Elephant Man decided to teach Chris about his roots and initiate him into the ruff and tuff style of dancehall culture by testing his knowledge of dancehall moves and showing him the right way to “jook” di BIG gals:

“Feel The Steam” is a lot like this concert: Chris Brown and Elephant Man are each enhanced by the skills and popularity of the other. Ele benefits from the wild adoration the ladies have for Chris, while Chris benefits from the long-standing popularity and street cred of Elephant Man. For the record, Chris Brown is a veteran dancer - he was part of the 2006 film “Stomp The Yard” - but he was virtually unknown in dancehall until last year.

“Feel The Steam” will be the next single released from Let’s Get Physical, but you can get the album now. Click the cover to check it out on Amazon and listen to the other tracks:
