Chris Brown Mad Over Leaked Songs, Singer Issues Statement
Just days after his label issued a stern warning to those who had leaked and shared unreleased copies of his music, Chris Brown says he's mad about one particular song – Electric Guitar. In what was to be a duet between Brown and Rihanna, "Electric Guitar" leaked earlier this month, leaving Brown in a state of frustration. "I'm mad that it's leaked," he told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "The record's not finished. It's supposed to be me and Rihanna's duet." "Electric Guitar" would have been Brown's first major collaboration with Rihanna since the remix of singer's 2007 smash "Umbrella." "It's fun being creative and even if you have a concept in your head to write about, you can write it and give it to someone else because it might not personally fit you, but it might be an idea you have," said Brown. "So with (Rihanna) that was an idea I had. I just wanted to go totally left and kind of weird, and that's what I threw at her." Brown is busy at work on his third album, due next year in addition to a few film roles and a new dance-themed reality show. "Having the support of my fans on the second round was just incredible, and it's even getting bigger now," he said of his success.
