Carmit Bachar of the Pussycat Dolls Resigns From Her Post
Pussycat Dolls singer Carmit Bachar has confirmed that she has left the girl group. She was the only original member of the Los Angeles-based burlesque dance troupe from which the band was formed. She wrote on the band's website: "I wanted to be the first to tell you that I'm no longer with the Pussycat Dolls, but we will always be sisters forever." The red-headed hottie did not explain why she decided to break from the group – or what she's doing next – though previous reports have suggested that Bachar intends to pursue a solo career. The singer only hinted that: "Exciting news is coming and I promise to keep you all posted." The Pussycat Dolls and Jessica Simpson are slated to perform an Operation MySpace concert for U.S. Soldiers in Kuwait on March 10.
