Bryan Leach, President and Founder of Polo Grounds Music and Senior Vice President/Urban for RCA Music Group, signs R&B artist Boxie and Candace Jones to Polo Grounds Music. The label current roster consist of hip hop & R&B acts including Hurricane Chris, Nina Sky, Diamond (formerly of Crime Mob) and C-Ride. Boxie, a Southside Jamaica, Queens native made his first major appearance on Ja Rule’s eighth album ‘The Mirror.’ Boxie was discovered by The Inc. A&R BJ and Inc CEO Irv Gotti but Boxie slipped through their fingers. Leach was overly impressed with the then 16-year-old’s musical abilities and signed the New York native to the PGM roster. Candace Jones created a buzz by unofficially remixing Ne-Yo's “Sexy Love,” which was played on major radio stations throughout the country. The song came to the attention on Ne-Yo in which he approved on the remix which brought Candace national attention. Leach’s Polo Grounds Music has recently partnered with Fila,  aligning the two brands in marketing initiatives including print, broadcast and online advertising with retail promotions, artist tour support and album launch initiatives.
