Britney to Give Birth on Live TV?
In an attempt to make up for poor ratings after airing the reality series, "Chaotic," Kevin Federline, a.k.a. Mr. Spears, wants the birth of his and Britney's baby to be aired on live TV.
"Even though their recent TV show Chaotic didn't go well in the ratings, Kevin thinks that a two-part special in which Britney goes into labour and subsequently delivers would draw viewers," says a source quoted by the Star.
Talk about intrusive.
But what does the princess of pop have to say about her hubby's wish?
Britney Spears' primary concern appears not to be invasion of privacy but rather her appearance.
"Britney feels that when a woman gives birth, she's certainly not looking her best, and she doesn't want to have to worry about how she looks in front of the camera when she should be concentrating on birthing a healthy baby," a friend stated.
Perhaps this is not surprising coming from a gal who is consistently in the spotlight and is bombarded by paparazzi.
For the interim, it looks like the couple has come to a compromise in preparation of their baby's birth due this October.
"Britney has agreed to allow Kevin to tape the big moment with their personal video camera, and depending on the outcome and just how difficult a time she has, she says she might reconsider and allow it to air after the fact," her friend added.
