Bow Wow Takes Control of ‘Pedigree,’ Album Set For Fall Release
Bow Wow is back ladies, the pint sized rapper says his "swag is too official" on his upcoming album titled "Pedigree" where Bow takes a hands on approach to everything from his music to his videos. Kicking off with the single "Marco Polo," which premiered on MTV last week, Bow Wow teamed with Soulja Boy for what is sure to become a fun, flirty and snap-filled summer anthem, which also premieres tonight on BET's 106 & Park. Slated for release this fall, "Pedigree" becomes Bow Wow's 7th album and first album the star has taken complete creative control of – instead of following the creative genius of long time producer Jermaine Dupri. Despite their split in terms of creative control, Bow Wow admits to MTV news "me and Jermaine Dupri are back tight again. We hanging out every day. I'm putting him on this song Swizz Beatz did for me called 'Big Bank Take Little Bank." Although a release date has not been set for "Pedigree," Bow Wow is said to be putting finishing touches on it for release by the end of the year. His new hands on approach to ‘Pedigree" can be seen in the video for "Marco Polo" which the star directed and edited for his music blog. "Pedigree" features production from Swizz Beatz, DJ Khaled, Lil Ronnie and Soulja Boy.
