A California judge has rejected R&B singer Bobby Brown's motion to overturn the divorce terms laid out by his ex-wife, Whitney Houston. "His motion was denied because there were no appearances or phone calls from Mr. Brown today for a scheduled hearing," said Carole Levitsky, a spokeswoman for the Orange County court. "As of now, there are no more pending court dates in this case." Brown, 38, was attempting to set aside the April 2007 default judgment in their divorce, which awarded Houston full custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina and gave Brown nothing financially and only visitation rights. Brown sued Houston a month after that ruling, alleging he was tricked into not taking appropriate action in the divorce proceedings. Houston was also due to appear in court Friday, but her attorney Thomas Stabile told E! Online he attended the hearing on her behalf and informed the judge Houston "was feeling under the weather" and wouldn't be able to make it. Stabile said Brown's MIA status appeared to render his petition moot, and the terms of their divorce will remain as it was when it became official last April 24.
