By Bikini Kill Tabbed By Antonio Rivero: nycvoid@aol.com >From The Album Reject All American I figured out this bass tab for the awesome song R.I.P., played in standard tuning on bass. This is the cool part of the song that is played 4 times with a repeating basic slide back and forth as follows: Intro/Verse: G--------------------------- D--------------------------- A--------------------------- E---77/3--77/3--77/3--77/3-- Then after the 4th sliding part, comes a little slow part played as follows: G---------------------------- D---------------------------- A--O--O-5---O--O-5---O----5-- E---------------------------- Then after you play the above slow part, you return back to the sliding part again. Then on the last slow part just before the chorus, you're going lead into the chorus like this: G-------------------------------------------- D-------------------------------------------- A--O--O-5---O--O-5---O-1--2222/3333---------- E----------------------------------3333/2222- Then you continue playing this as the chorus a few times: Chorus: G-------------------- D-------------------- A-2222/3333---------- E----------3333/2222- Then on the last chorus line before going back to the verse, you play the chorus like this and hold the last note: G------------------- D------------------- A-2222/3333--------- E----------3333/2--- You should play along to the album to get the appropriate timing for these parts.
