R&B singer Beyonce Knowles and her label SonyBMG have been forced to cease distribution of 'B Day - Deluxe Edition' following legal problems until a May 4 injunction.

As Singersroom previously reported (Beyonce Knowles Sued For Copyright Infringement), Beyonce is in the process of being sued by singer Des'ree following allegations that she did not acquire permission to cover a song called "I'm Kissing You" on 'B Day - Deluxe Edition.'

Papers filed by Des'ree's publishers, the Royalty Network, said they had initially offered to grant Beyonce use of the song within limits. But they allege Beyonce's people did not respond to their offer and released 'B Day - Deluxe Edition' without a signed agreement. Furthermore, a video was cut for the B'Day DVD, which was also allegedly not cleared.

The suit seeks $150,000 in damages.
