Walk Away
---------
Artist: Ben Harper
Album: Welcome To The Cruel World
Tabbed by: Briac Pilpre
Adjustments by: Omri Alon
This is a fix for Briac's great tab. Ben's slow acoustic numbers make for
fantastic finger-picking practices. But something was wrong about the way
this one was tabbed.
First, although Ben plays many songs at half or a full step lower tuning,
this song is definitely played in standard tuning, E A D G B e.
Then, besides a tiny change to the hammer-on from E to F, there are, more
importantly, undeniably two strings being picked after every bass note, the
open G and third-fretted B, with the G picked a little harder so it rings
louder.
Finally, during the bridge, that picking pattern changes to the one tabbed
below - the bass notes were right but it was missing the underlying melody
of the bridge.
The rest is perfect and very precise in the notation of timing and beats, so
the following are Briac's original notes:
"A really easy, yet beautiful, song. The timing is the most difficult thing
in this song. There might be some errors, especially in the bridge, but it
sounds really close... (I believe I fixed those --Omri)
Tempo: about 65. The 'e' and 's' below the tabs represent eighth and
sixteenth notes. 'h' means hammer-on."
Intro / Verse:
For the intro play this twice but don't pick the last two pickings after the
E to F hammer-on the second time around. For the verse just repeat as
neccesary.

Bridge:
Play this twice. After the second time around, you go back to the verse
riff, so end with the regular picking (third-fretted B instead of first.)

There may be pull-offs and hammer-ons in the bridge picking pattern but
they're very faint so you make the call. Any further corrections are
welcome. Hey, nobody's perfect. And this IS my first public tab post. :o)
