notes can be played together in any fashion you like. but the
rule is you have to stay within the scale.
for exsample I am playing a song in G major. I run across a major
chord(G for exsample)
I can play any of the notes in that scale(IT'S BETTER TO PLAY A
RIFF THEN PLAY ROOT NOTES) The same goes for minor chords.
Now that you know that you can play these chords.(Major and minor)
you can play these chords anywere on the neck.
