Bass Lessons

Bass Lessons - Artificial Harmonics bass tab

artificial harmonics are basically like regular harmonics

with one difference

the length of the string (from the nut to the bridge) by fretting

a note anywhere

you basically shorten the stringwhich then moves the hamonics

around here is an example

G--12@24---

D----------

A----------

E----------

you fret the 12 and with you other hand you put your finger over

the 24 like a regular

harmonic and pluck it explore your whole neck to find them

some great examples of artificial harmonic players are jaco

pastorius and steve bailey
