Chris Cornell's Wife Caught In Air Rage Incident

Rocker Chris Cornell has been caught up in another scandal - his wife Vicky has been accused of hitting a woman with a pillow during a recent flight from Mexico City to Los Angeles.

The couple was flying back home after Cornell's series of concerts in South America last week, when the incident is alleged to have taken place.

According to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, Vicky was having a "heated argument" with the former Audioslave frontman while they were waiting for the plane to park upon its arrival at LAX airport.

An eyewitness claims Vicky shouted at Cornell, "That was my idea", before she "picked up her pillow and flung it in the face of the woman sitting behind her, knocking the woman's glasses to the floor."

When the woman asked why she had done that, Vicky replied, "I was just trying to get your attention."

But a friend of the couple claims the pillow was thrown at Cornell's tour manager - "who is a man, not a woman".

A representative for Cornell has refused to comment. The air rage incident tops off a bad trip for the Cornells - they lost over $30,000 worth of valuables after their Argentinian hotel room was flooded earlier this month.
