Metal icon SCOTT IAN recently spoke with The Gauntlet in regard to the historic ANTHRAX reunion tour and his personal love of playing the guitar. Here is a brief exerpt of the chat with Ian, watch for the full conversation on The Gauntlet

The Gauntlet: There was some confusion for a short period before the reunion tour about who was actually singing for Anthrax...

Scott Ian: All we ever said was that we were doing a reunion tour, and we committed to do this for a year and as far as whatever happens after that, I dont know what is really going to happen after this...

The Gauntlet: So at this point, you can't confirm anything in regard to a forthcoming studio effort from the band?

Scott Ian: There will be. Who is going to be in the band is what I can't answer.

The Gauntlet: What is the single aspect that you most enjoy about playing the guitar?

Scott Ian: I love playing live. It's exciting for me. With the music kicking in, and the band kicking in behind me, it just feels great and the interaction between us and the crowd and the whole energy that it creates, it's incredible. I f you have never done it, you will never understand it and at the same time, it's the one thing that gives me that feeling. Nothing else for me, being onstage and playing my guitar, it's just an amazing feeling.
