Alicia Keys? ?Unplugged? tops Billboard 200 album chart
Alicia Keys? ?Unplugged? album has taken the top spot in the latest Billboard 200 album chart with sales of 196,000 copies during its first week in stores.
The album was recorded in July at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and gives the nine-time Grammy-winning R&B songstress her third number one debut in three tries.
Alicia's Unplugged is also the second highest debut from the Unplugged series since Nirvana's 1994 release of MTV Unplugged. Additionally, Alicia Keys' Unplugged is #1 on the R&B Album chart.
Taped July 14th at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the memorable acoustic performance features a full set of Alicia's most acclaimed music, along with several new songs.
