AC/DC Star, Bon Scott, Celebrated At Scottish Festival
A small town in Scotland has been paying tribute to AC/DC singer Bon Scott with a special music festival dedicated to the performer.
The third Bon Scott Weekend in Kirriemuir has seen local young bands perform some of AC/DC's biggest hits.
Scott was born in Kirriemuir but moved to Australia at the age of six.
Speaking to the BBC, Victoria Melton, one of the festivals of the event, said the event acknowledged how Scott had "a huge influence to a lot of people all over the world."
Two years ago the town also unveiled a plaque to the singer, who died in 1980 from alcohol poisoning following a night out in London.
