Artist: Seether

Song: Needles

These guys fu**cken rock!

Drop D Tuning (DADGBD)

(Note that the high E is also dropped. This is not necessary, but it makes it sound pretty good. It is recommended)

Verse 1

Never seemed?K then it does this tricky little thing?K

D?n---0----?n D?n--------------------?n

B?n---3----?n B?n--------------------?n

G?n---2----?n G?n--------------------?n

D?n---0----?n x2 D?n---0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

A?n---0----?n A?n---0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

D?n---0----?n D?n---0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

Then it gets to this?K

Take it?K

D?n--0-0-----------0-0------------------------?n

B?n--3-3-3---------3-3-3----------------------?n

G?n--2-2-5-9-12---?X2-2-5----------------------?n

D?n--0-0-5-9-12----0-0-5---3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

A?n--0-0-3-8-10---?X0-0-3---3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

D?n--0-0-----------0-0-----3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

D?n--0-0-----------0-0------------------------?n

B?n--3-3-3---------3-3-3----------------------?n

G?n--2-2-5-9-12---?X2-2-5----------------------?n

D?n--0-0-5-9-12----0-0-5---3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

A?n--0-0-3-8-10---?X0-0-3---3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

D?n--0-0-----------0-0-----3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2--?n

Chorus (the palm mute must be played with an open D chord)

Let me get inside your head

D?n-------------------------------------------------------------?n

A?n-------------------------------------------------------------?n

D?n-----------------------------5-------------------------------?n

G?n--0-0-0-3(p)0-0-x-0-3(p)0-0--5---------5-x-x-----------------?n

B?n--0-0-0-3(p)0-0-x-0-3(p)0-0--3---------5-x-x-----------------?n

D?n--0-0-0-3(p)0-0-x-0-3(p)0-0------------5-x-x-----------------?n

Verse 2 is similar to verse 1, but the distortion starts quicker. Just listen to the song, and you??ll hear when you must kick it in. I??ve worked out what you must play to the distorted verse bit for you.

(Palm mute)

Take it?K remember all you

D?n---------------------------------------------------------------?n

G?n-----------------------------------(5)-(5)-(5)-(5)-5-5/7-7-7-7-?n

D?n-0-xx-x-0-xx-0-(3)-(3)-(3)-(3)-3-3-(5)-(5)-(5)-(5)-5-5/7-7-7-7-?n

A?n-0-xx-x-0-xx-0-(3)-(3)-(3)-(3)-3-3-(3)-(3)-(3)-(3)-3-3/5-5-7-7-?n

D?n-0-xx-x-0-xx-0-(3)-(3)-(3)-(3)-3-3-----------------------------?n

said to me now

D?n----------------------------------------------------?n

B?n----------------------------------------------------?n

G?n---------------3/5-5-5-5-5-5------------------------?n

D?n-0-xx-x-0-xx-0-3/5-5-5-5-5-5-3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2------?nx2

A?n-0-xx-x-0-xx-0-1/3-3-3-3-3-3-3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2------?n

D?n-0-xx-x-0-xx-0---------------3-0-2-3-2(h)3(p)2------?n

Then, there??s this hardcore little bit?K

(It starts with a muted piece)(The muted bits are played with a D# chord)

< (D#) >

D?n-------------------------------------------------?n

B?n-------------------------------------------------?n

G?n-------------------------------------------------?n

D?n-0-0-xx-0-3(p)2-2-3(p)2-2--0-0-xx-0-x-x-x-x-x-x--?n

A?n-0-0-xx-0-3(p)2-2-3(p)2-2--0-0-xx-0-x-x-x-x-x-x--?n

D?n-0-0-xx-0-3(p)2-2-3(p)2-2--0-0-xx-0-x-x-x-x-x-x--?n

The solo is damn hard to work out cause Nick uses some freaky (but cool) effect. But I??ll try work it out soon.

Just repeat the Chorus and the hardcore bit, and you??re right!
